Pattern: Snow Lady

Amigurumi Snowman

Mr Snowman is in love. His loved one is a distinguished snow maiden called Lady Snow. He hasn’t confessed his feelings yet because he is very shy, but I’m sure that there would be great chemistry between them.

I encourage you to make her so Mr Snowman can chat about opera all through the cold winter nights with a cultivated and charming companion (but far away from the chimney!).

In order to crochet the sofisticated Lady snow you will need:

• 3mm crochet hook
• White and orange yarn
• 6mm safety eyes
• Golden yarn (I have used Drops Cotton Viscose nº4)
• Tapestry needle
• Fiberfill

Abbreviations:

rd: round ch: chain st: stitch sc: single crochet inc: increase(2sc in the same stitch) dec: decrease (2 single crochet together) sl st: slide stitch fl: front loops(we will crochet through the front loop of the stitch) *: repeat to the end of the round<br>(…): stitches you should have at the end of the round

Note: This pattern is made in continuous rounds. Do not chain and turn at the end of each row, unless it is specified. Irecommendusing a stitch marker

Head and Body

As you will see, the pattern for the head and body is the same as Mr Snowman. The only things that change are accessories.

Nose

Rd 1: (orange yarn) 4sc in magic ring- (4) Rd 2- Rd 3: 4sc- (4) sl st. Leave long end for sewing

Hat

Rd 1: Com hilado dorado, anillo mágico de 6pb (6) Rd 2: *aum* (12) Rd 3: *1pb, aum* (18) Rd 4-Rd 5: 18pb (18) Rd 6: ld *2pb, aum* (24) Rd 7: *3pb. aum* (30) Rd 8: *4pb, aum* (36) Rd 9: *5pb, aum* (42) Rd 10: *1pb, aum* (62) Rd 11: 62pb (62) pr and finishes off the strand

Flower

Rd 1: (drops yarn) 4sc magic ring – (4) Rd 2: sl st in next sc, 4 ch * Finish with sl st and leave long end to sew to the hat.

Necklace

Using some Drops yarn, make two loops around the doll’s neck, making one larger than the other. Sew the ends to the backside of the neck.

Assembly:

• Sew the flower to the side of the hat
• Sew the hat and the nose to the doll’s head.
• Sew the hat to the doll’s head.
• Using some Drops yarn, make a loop and sew it to the top of the head. If you don’t want to hang it, you can skip this step.
